With Merrie & Dacia | $100 | 60 minutes
If you're looking for specialized guidance on your pregnancy and birthing journey without the full commitment of a birth doula this session is perfect for you. 1 on 1 birth preparation sessions are custom to your specific family needs. Topics can include local provider recommendations, details on the signs and stages of labor, an introduction to comfort measures for pregnancy and labor, and more. Birth preparation guides will also be shared following the session.

Are you considering a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean), but unsure where to begin? Schedule a 60-minute VBAC consultation with two of our VBAC-certified doulas to discuss your options and next steps. Topics include your birthing history, how to set yourself up for VBAC success, local VBAC-friendly provider recommendations, and more. A VBAC 101 guide will also be shared after the consultation.

Discovering your baby is breech at the end of your pregnancy can create quite a wrinkle in your plans. Know you have options! Schedule a 60-minute Breech Delivery Options consultation with Lauren to discuss your options and next steps. Topics include your birthing history, ways to encourage baby to flip head down, an overview of the history of breech birth, local vaginal breech provider recommendations, and more. A breech 101 guide will also be shared after the consultation.

With Merrie & Dacia | $150 | 90 minutes
Whether your birth went exactly to plan or you're left with lots of lingering questions, private 1:1 birth processing sessions can help you move through the experience. Birth processing sessions give you an opportunity to talk through your birth with a seasoned professional who has been in the birth space. These sessions can be especially healing for clients who plan to become pregnant again or who are planning a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) ensuring any trauma experienced previously isn't brought into your new sacred birthing space.
About Merrie
Mom of four and deeply rooted in Arvada, Colorado. When I'm not in the birth room, you'll find me soaking up precious moments at home with my little tribe—I'm all about cooking up a storm, horseback riding, gardening, and chasing the best hot springs around the globe. But let me tell you… my heart beats for childbirth.
I'm #5 of seven children. As a kid, I was the one asking all the questions—completely fascinated by birth and always pulling my mom’s friends aside to hear their birth stories.
Originally from Littleton, Colorado, my love for travel led me to France as an exchange student in high school and later to Venezuela, where I immersed myself in Spanish and South American culture. I taught English in China and studied Mandarin in Taiwan—continuing that journey of growth while majoring in Mandarin Chinese in college.
I trained at The Farm Midwifery Center with Ina May Gaskin and Pamela Hunt and worked as a student midwife in a free-standing birth center. I’ve also trained through Birthing From Within in both doula work and childbirth education.
For me, the birth room is pure magic—a space where our bodies, babies, and families come together to create something truly precious.
I’ve personally given birth at home, in a hospital, and in a birth center setting—including experiencing a mid-labor transfer. I understand the roller coaster of emotions and the physical intensity that comes with labor. I’m deeply passionate about helping women find their center, trust the process, and surrender to the incredible journey of birth.
Peace on earth begins at birth. I consider it an honor to walk alongside families during one of the most transformative experiences of their lives.
About Dacia
A passionate and experienced birth Doula committed to guiding families through their unique childbirth journeys. My path into birth support began with my own experiences as a mother, which encompassed a range of birthing methods, including a medicated birth, a cesarean section, surrogacy, a home birth, and a successful VBAC.
These diverse experiences have given me profound insights into the multifaceted aspects of childbirth, including its emotional and physical challenges. Motivated to empower families, I pursued certification as a birth Doula, drawing on my journey to offer empathetic and non-judgmental support.
In addition to my Doula work, I am deeply rooted in family life, sharing seven wonderful years of marriage with my supportive partner and parenting two beautiful daughters, Ettalia and Holland. Parenthood has enriched my understanding of the joys and trials of raising children, enriching my Doula practice with empathy and relatability.
Beyond my Doula role, I am an aspiring herbalist, advocating for holistic wellness and natural remedies. I believe in empowering families with self-care practices during the prenatal, birthing, and postpartum periods, integrating herbalism into my support approach.
My mission as a birth Doula is to provide unwavering support, encouragement, and advocacy during one of life's most profound moments—the birth of a child. Whether you're planning a medicated birth, considering a home birth, hoping for a VBAC, or navigating the complexities of a cesarean section, I'm here to stand by your side, offering guidance, comfort, and a deep respect for your choices.
